Adana, due to its location, is a city with easy access by road, railway, and air. It offers direct bus services from almost all cities in Turkey, as well as direct or connecting transportation options via trains and flights from many central points. The Mithat ÖZSAN Amphitheatre, where the congress will be held, is located in the Balcalı Campus, approximately 8 km away from the city centre.
Bus Transportation:
By bus, you can reach the Adana Intercity Bus Terminal, which is 5 kilometres away from the city centre, and from there, you can easily reach the city centre. Within the terminal, there are shuttles operated by bus companies, taxis, or you can take minibuses or municipal buses from the main road outside the terminal to reach the city centre. From İnönü Parkı or Atilla ALTIKAT area, you can easily reach the Mithat ÖZSAN Amphitheatre by taking minibuses numbered 4 or 4/B, or orange-coloured Balcalı buses.
Air Transportation:
Transportation from Şakirpaşa Airport, which is 3.5 km away from Adana city centre, is easily accessible through various alternatives. The distance between the university and the airport is approximately 15 km. You can directly reach the campus from the airport by taking taxis or municipal buses numbered 135 passing through the main road outside the airport. Additionally, you can take municipal buses numbered 140 and 160 from the main road to reach the campus entrance and then access Mithat ÖZSAN Amphitheatre with campus transportation vehicles. As an alternative, you can prefer to come to the city centre by taxi or other public transportation, and then reach the campus by taking minibuses numbered 4 or 4/B from İnönü Parkı or Atilla ALTIKAT area, or orange-coloured Balcalı buses.
Train Transportation:
Adana Train Station, located approximately 1.5 km away from the city centre and in a very central location, offers various transportation options to reach the campus. From the station, you can reach the campus by taxi, or you can take municipal buses coming to Balcalı Campus from Atatürk Caddesi, which is just a few minutes' walk away, or orange-coloured Balcalı buses from Gazipaşa Bulvarı.
NOTE: Those opting for municipal buses for transportation can make contactless payments with a credit card or obtain a single-use card from the kiosks near the stops.
